Strange Bird is a sculptural design object defined by a controlled form with a subtle sense of movement.
Its bird-like posture remains suggestive rather than literal, while a rotating head allows small changes in orientation and presence. An orange crest, formed from flexible strands, introduces a contrasting element that suggests plumage without describing it directly.
The title refers to the idiom “strange bird”—something that stands apart through quiet difference.
A stable object with a hint of variation, it holds its form while allowing slight shifts over time.
Designed as a contemporary sculptural object for interior display.

How it's made
Designed, 3D modeled and produced using computerized tools, including 3D printing. Elastic silicone and polyurethane threads are integrated to form joints and connective elements, followed by minimal hand finishing.
Each piece is assembled by hand in my studio, Minor variations may occur as part of the process.
